For a thoroughly cleaned and serviced used instrument, that’s the equivalent of paying only $18.90 a month or 60¢ a day! Others charge an average of $35 to $40 a month for the same instrument.
School year rentals of used instruments are further discounted when renting in the middle of the school year (see discount when add to cart). Note that re-rents for the next school year will be at the full per year rental price.

Which instrument should I choose – Student vs. Step-up?
The difference between beginner and step-up instruments is the quality of materials, design, construction, and craftsmanship.
The beginner instruments are manufactured with durability in mind and less focus on the overall tone and playability. Young students are more likely to drop their instruments and put them together incorrectly. Young beginners just challenge the instrument physically in ways an older, advanced student is less likely to.
With a step-up instrument, the focus is on the sound and the overall flexibility when playing. This is achieved by better materials, and a design focused for a great sound. A step-up instrument is like any tool. The better the tool the better the product.
