Rental Period

Rentals are for the 2025-2026 school year. The school year is defined as August through May. The earliest day that you will receive your instrument will be August 1, 2025.
Your end-of-school options will include:
• Return the instrument by June 1, 2026 - or sooner - with no further obligation.
• Purchase your rental instrument, or a brand new instrument.
• Re-Rent the instrument for the next school-year, or for just the next semester.

Free Repair & Replacement Coverage is included for the life of the rental period.

We offer a specially priced Student Starter Pak that contains all the supplies that your student will need for the school year. Look for it on the cart page as a recommended special. Free Delivery

During the school year, Star City Music maintains a regular visitation schedule with many schools in central/southwest Virginia - once a week in most locations. We charge a minimal fee for delivery to some area schools. Free School Delivery is available to these schools: .
